GFHA Rapid Rehousing & Homeless Prevention Program
GFHA’s Rapid Rehousing & Homeless Prevention Program provides financial assistance to qualified households impacted by COVID-19 who are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness. Funding can be provided to assist with security deposits, rent arrears/late fees, and rent payments until GFHA housing assistance becomes available. Additional information may also be requested. Program participation is limited based on unit and funding availability. Funding for this program is provided through HUD ESG-CV and HUD CDBG-CV. Program Income Limits apply. All recipients of GFHA RRHP funds must earn under 80% area median income ($48,100 for an individual, $68,650 for a family of 4).
All recipients must participate in a Housing Assessment Tool or Family SPDAT Assessment in order to receive funding. These assessments are conducted at Northlands Rescue Mission or Spectra Health. Please call them in advance to schedule. The assessment takes approximately 30 minutes.
Please note: If your household has not been directly, financially impacted by Covid-19, you will need to fall into either the Chronically Homeless or Literally Homeless (Category 1) categories on the Homeless Certification form in order to qualify for assistance.
